SmartePower Connect (Pty) Ltd trading as SmartePower started its operation in June 2012 as an installer of prepaid sub-meters. The operation involves buying, selling and installations of prepaid sub-meters for households and industrial meters of electricity as well as revenue collection.

SmartePower operates mostly in township areas where the need for sub-metering is highly in demand, as well as other electrical services.

SmartePower works with qualified electricians on most of the installations of sub-meters and advices on most electrical projects where the needs arises.
